A redevelopment plan prepared by the city had a goal to revitalize this entire area of Plainfield. This project was the first to do so! The attractiveness of the NJ Transit train station provides this site with a key ingredient for transit commuters. The park across the street becomes an amenity for people raising a family . Facing the train tracks there is an outdoor terrace with lawns, seating, & grills that can be used as another opportunity for leisure space. This project is set up to create a safe community for families and commuters.
