The adjacent hospital is an influence on the new program of this project as there is a need for additional medical spaces in the area. A ground floor retail space will provide coffee shops or food establishments which will preserve a neighborhood-like vibe of the intersection. The language of a punched window from the adjacent structure is seamlessly carried over in this new design. A bay window projects out past the property line not only break down the façade, but to provide additional square footage to each commercial floor.
